I often find that towards the end of a day's painting, it is quite satisfying to put away what you are working on, and start a new small piece. It's a relatively easy exercise as all your paints and easel are there and set up, and you are well and truly wormed up and in the groove.
In this case, I decided to have a shot at the panorama to the left of my subject for the day, and put this little canvas together quite quickly...going with the flow!
