Artist's description:

An experimental piece using the principles of the Marouflage technique (mounting a flexible surface onto a more rigid support, originally linen canvas onto plaster, but in this case paper onto wood). The small, quite dark painting, has many rich layers & tones, and evokes the mystery of the forest.
The panel may be framed or propped on a surface, ideally it needs some light to bring out the beauty of the transparent glazes.

Materials used:

Paper, acrylic, ink and varnish

She thought she may spend the night in the forest (2016)
