This is an original encaustic painting on a cradled birch panel. There are many translucent flowing layers in this abstract landscape. This piece was a 1st Showcase Winner in the Abstract category for the ArtSlant Prize in 2015.
Signed and dated on the back and wired for hanging. This painting has clean birch sides and does not need to be framed which is customary for contemporary encaustic.
