The Garden Series continues with this 12(w)x40(h)" deep canvas, ready to hang. This is one of the largest paintings I have completed, usually I work to a square, up to 16x16". I have created a richly textured surface with acrylic and medium, also some glazing.
The sky can be seen through summer foliage with deep shadows, and bees buzzing. Where are the bees? Well, this has an amusing point, in that there are only a couple of bees to be found in the painting, but sadly reflecting concern with relation to the survival of bees and their lack in our gardens.
It is a deep canvas and doesn't need framing. Each work is wrapped to ensure good protection and sent by courier.
