One of a series, Brighton Glimpses, made on reclaimed cedar blocks with acrylic paints, pigments and (sometimes) silver leaf. These are little intimate moments and scenes from a seaside town - some well-known places, others hidden corners.
This is why I live where I do - I love the sun on the sea. It's dazzling, like an exclamation mark, but also unbelievably serene and calming.
I'll be adding to the series and making more on commission. They are simply framed in white-washed wood. Each works on its own. Ideally, however, they hang in groups of three or five or more, so I have made the price as accessible as possible given the time involved in making and framing them. A labour of love!
