Artist's description:

This beautiful animal was everywhere during our trip to india. Our driver regularly bought food to give to the animals as it would please the Indian gods. Their huge eyes and placid nature made them very photogenic. This oil pastel painting was worked up from the photographs we took on trip. We were there in January/ February which is the wedding season so the material for the wedding sari's where out on display in all the shops. The colours I used in this painting are reminiscent of the amazing coloured sari's we saw.

Materials used:

oil pastels,acrylic,pencil, oil pastel paper.
