I recently visited Rudyard Kipling's home - Bateman's - and found a little gem of a place. Most inspiring on this visit in April was a field of striking scillas flowering their little hearts out before there were any leaves on the trees! The vivid colour was amazing and I felt I just had to capture it in ink. I hope you like the result.
This picture is painted using acrylic inks on a deep edged canvas with colour and dribbly paint round the edges. It is ready to hang.
