Artwork description:

One of a series of still-lives of butterflies, moths and beetles, made using a focus-stacking technique that allows for incredible amounts of detail to be rendered at large sizes, and designed to be printed large (on sheets approx. 1metre x 1metre). 2 smaller sizes are available. To be able to see these beautiful creatures at such a scale adds another dimension to how we see the world around us. The specimens photographed all come from butterfly farms and died naturally.

Materials used:

Canson Baryta Photographique 310 gsm archival paper
