Jean-Luc Lacroix has created several paintings on the theme of music.“Saxo” is one of them illustrated by a jazzman who is playing saxophone. The stroke is lively and almost audible. A note emerges from the instrument forming the lyrical mood in the design of the work. The artist mixed colors and materials creating contrasts and spirit, accompanied by calligraphy, typography, stamps and collages including a musical partition. Acrylic and mixed media on Arches paper 600g.
Original work signed “JlL” on the lower right, with a stamp JlL on the back. Certificate of authenticity. Sent unframed.
