A little painting in oil of the beautiful surfing beach Saunton Sands in Devon. Ever since we moved to Devon 16 years ago we have been going there with the kids surfing, swimming, drawing taking photos.
Because of the size of the canvas I kept this really simple and tried to get the atmosphere of a wide beach on a small block canvas.
