This original Alcohol Ink abstract painting is enhanced with Swarovski Crystals that definitely add a sparkle of color to the already saturated colors of Alcohol Inks. Unfortunately, the crystals do not photograph well, and just look like dots on the painting.
I discovered this relatively new medium of Alcohol Inks at an artists' retreat hosted by The Painted Ladies in Washington State, USA during the Tulip Festival in Skagit Valley, Washington in April 2015. I call it my color therapy. Anyone who loves saturated, jewel-tone colors will love this medium.
Alcohol Inks painted onto an Ampersand gesso board with brushes. I also glued Swarovski crystals onto the painted surface.
