Artist's description:

In September 2016, I finally visited El Santuario de Chimayo, a beautiful old church in northern New Mexico. Since then, I have visited again in the spring and summer, while I work on this series of paintings. I can't believe I had never been before. It's one of those things that you take for granted. Because it is close by, you think you can go there any time. I love it there and so does everyone who visits. That day in September was a bit gray but the church was still beautiful. Every time I've been, there is always a feeling of serenity, no matter what time of year.

This is an acrylic painting on an archival Raymar canvas panel. This is framed in a beautiful wood frame and wired for hanging.
