I made this picture of the mountains around Santa Fe was taken early one morning from White Rock. The monochromatic blue colours and the rising mist suggest calm, while the recessive contours create an ethereal feel as we can't quite see where one mountain begins and another ends ... The picture was Highly Commended in the 2014 USA Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition.
The picture is printed using the Giclée process on fine art paper. Giclée Fine Art Prints are extremely high quality, archival grade, digital prints that use an ultra fine inkjet printing process to produce images of intense colour and vibrancy. Giclée printing is widely regarded as one of the very best photographic and fine art printing methods currently available. This sophisticated digital reproduction technology utilizes light-fast and UV-resistant pigment based inks with more colours than regular printing to produce beautiful digital reproductions that last much longer than those produced using traditional commercial fine art printing techniques. The Giclée inks are lightfast to a extremely high standard and are designed to be printed onto specially developed archival quality papers. The results are superb quality prints with unparalleled vibrancy and detail that should literally last well over a lifetime.
This edition is limited to 7 prints. Each print is signed and numbered on the front and comes with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Please note that while the actual image size dimensions stated are correct, the unframed paper size dimensions are approximate. There is typically a sizable border around the image on all sides to allow signing on the front of the print and to help protect the image.
Other print and edition sizes are available for this image. I can also arrange framing in a high quality black gallery frame with an archival quality off-white mount, if required. Please contact me at email@example.com for details and to discuss your requirements.
