Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This horse race featured the 19 year old David Mullins ( in blue helmet and maroon stripe and 2 sets of goggles) on Ruler of the World who became the youngest ever jockey to win The Grand National at Aintree. The course was very wet and muddy which explains the condition of the jockeys. The other two horses were Last Samurai (left) and Vics Canvas who finished after Ruler of the World. The trainer was Mouse Morris who by chance has the same surname as myself - although not a relation. I liked the energy of the horses galloping over the fence, which I tried to capture without too much detail. This painting is based on a photograph.
