This is a watercolour of the Round Church, a landmark in Cambridge, is only one of four round churches in England, and dates from the 12th century, built around 1130. Its rotunda and distinctive shape is said to be inspired by the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
This is the second of these drawings, to replace the first that has been sold recently from my collection. Made using Winsor and Newton watercolours on heavyweight bockingford acid free cold pressed watercolour paper. In muted soft colours, this will be an elegant addition to any interior, and will also make a great graduation or 'going to University' gift.
Drawing will be sent unframed in a reinforced envelope. Please contact me if you would like to add a mount or a frame to the order.
The size refers approximately to the size of the image.
