Original artwork description:
There is a heavy, ripe atmosphere, extreme colour and shape to the Dorset coast during the height of the summer months and I have used areas of thick impasto in jewel-like tones in the painting Rose Quartz Summer in an attempt to awaken a sense of this in the viewer's mind.
The painting is completed on a deep 10 oz triple primed white box canvas, and framed in a bespoke pale grey wooden frame. This work was previously shortlisted for the New English Art Club Annual exhibition (2018).
This work is signed on the front.

Ara Artists' Acrylics, Jacksons premium cotton professional quality stretched (10 oz medium texture) triple primed white box canvas, Ara acrylic paint, Windsor & Newton gesso
