Artist's description:

An original, unique acrylic monoprint/monotype, matt varnished, expressing the colour sensibility of the artist and keen sense of observation. Alexander Nasmyth's portrait of the famous Scottish poet is the most recognised image of Burns, but the bard once said that the best likeness of him was a portrait by a coach painter! It was very difficult to create this artwork in my monoprinting style.
Inspired by my love of Scotland and her world-famous poet and, of course, Naysmyth's portraits, this one-of-a-kind monoprint/monotype will give the Artfinder collector as much pleasure as Fraser had in creating this artwork.
(A temporary mount is included in the package)
