This is a typical Scottish landscape based on an area of Skye. There's a homely little cottage at the side of the road, mountains in the background and a stormy looking sky in the background. The scene is painted on a deep profile canvas with the composition continued on the edges to allow hanging without framing if required - this can be seen in some of the images.
