Original artwork description:

'Twa Lads' is a double cairn set on the side of the West Pennine Moors overlooking the town of Horwich. Legend says that it marks the graves of two Saxon princes, the 'Two Lads', killed in battle. It's a wild spot, despite it's closeness to the big urban conurbation of north Manchester, and it offers views over Lancashire and towards the Irish Sea. On the horizon in this painting, you can see Rivington Pike, a landmark to anyone travelling along the M61.

Materials used:

Oil on deep edged canvas (no frame required)
