Mid morning on Little River in Georgia, USA. I've painted in this area a number of times over the years. It's near the ruins of the old Cherokee Rope Mill, about mid morning to early afternoon.
A steamy hot summer day in Georgia. I made a painting from almost the same spot the day before, but earlier in the morning. The colors are so different just a few hours earlier. This is one of the challenges of landscape painting, that the light changes so rapidly as the day goes on.
Painted en plein aire, this painting measures 8 x 10 inches on stretched canvas. The sides are painted black as shown. Sold unframed.
