This floral painting is of red and white penstemons and pale pink/white mallow, both of which grow in my garden. The boldness of the red penstemon flowers goes well with the delicacy of the mallow flowers, and they both look good against a blue sky background.
The painting is done on a wrapped stretched canvas that is painted on its edges and wired ready for hanging.
