DESCRIPTION: A unique, abstract acrylic painting. It depicts the rise of a new era, as it was created at the very beginning of a new the year. Expectation, change, new beginnings...

Clear, ease, and a lot of awareness in the whole time of the creative process... A few bold blue brushstrokes for start, then the artist let the acrylic color flow and with a spatula, she created the heavy textures of blue and turquoise. As the two fluid colors were mixing, the artist started controlling them and their expansion. Then, the yellow orange came to uplift the whole atmosphere, as the two red lines, like ribbons in the air, gave more movement and boosted all the elements of the painting to the new reality, to the new era.

At last, this artwork depicts the instant moment, when a positive thought brings the feeling of great optimism and hope.

MATERIALS: It is painted with high quality acrylic paint and pigments on canvas. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.

"Nature, colors and materials inspire me the most. I follow the potentials of the materials, in a free, gestural process, which reminds of free associations in psychotherapy and meditation. I see one point and the whole, almost at the same time, again and again. I release and I hold, add and erase, again and again. I let my instinct and emotion flow, observing carefully how the elements of art communicate with each other.

I usually use acrylic combined with pigments. I work layer after layer, creating transparencies, revealing the best textures and design elements; I bring into being a unique and mysterious atmosphere, in a dynamic and passionate manner, full of energy, close to abstract expressionism".
