Artist's description:

from Wikipedia 'Barnett Newman (January 29, 1905-July 4, 1970) was an American artist. He is seen as one of the major figures in abstract expressionism and one of the foremost of the color field painters.'
I was a MoMA student and we learned a lot about Newman. The sense of space with white painting, the symbolism of the colors, the shapes.
This is a little piece of art that reminds me the vastness of the universe and a sense of timelessness.
I wanted to make a very broad concept, the resurrection, in a very small space, only with a few color directions and color transparencies. Few forms, few colors, opposites attract.
