I was always fascinated by ancient puzzles that represent legends and myths. And of course "The apple of Eden" is one of my favorites.
It's always a question why is the apple and not a banana or mango?
I presume it's its spheric shape that has been dominating the rest of the fruits cultivated in ancient Europe.
This image is a part of another project dedicated to ancient legends. It was awarded the 1st prize in the 4th Fine Art Photography Awards in 2018.
