It’s so hard to capture the actual colours of this but I hope you get the general idea. In reality it has a much softer look with refreshing Spring colours.
‘Replenish’ has been painted over a few weeks as we have been emerging from lockdown. Strangely I finished it just as the restrictions have been lifted & we can see & hug our friends again. It’s the hugs I’ve most missed.

Replenish was planned to be quite different but I couldn’t stop adding more Cow Parsley (Queen Anne's Lace). It’s Lacy flower heads made me think of the clusters & groups of friends, family & acquaintances which add so much to our lives. Each little cluster part of a bigger community.
The undulating stalks taking each group higher into the Spring light & air, just as we rise up together back into a community & society being able to flourish together as restrictions are lifted.

My hope is that after all we have experienced over the past year, the solitude, isolation, fear & sadness will make us appreciate each other more, value hoe special it is to connect with others & have loved ones close.

Replenish makes a stunning focal point in a living room, bedroom or dining room interior. Its tones of white, soft greens, blues, Golden yellow & pink peach sit well with a range of interior decor schemes.
