Original artwork description:

This artwork is about the fabric remnants that we keep stored away for years or sometimes decades. We harbour an emotional attachment to these pieces of cloth as they may remind us of a time or a person from the past or even an idea that persists that we will use them one day to make something new. The pieces of fabric I have used in this piece I obtained from my Grandmother 20 years ago. My attachment to them is partially an attachment to her memory. The artwork was created by gluing strips of fabric on to a stretched canvas and then painting it with acrylic

Materials used:

Fabric, PVA glue, Acrylic Paint
