In 2014 I was in a really impressive journey. It was ice skating journey on Lake Baikal. We have overcome 400km, skating from Listvyanka to Khuzhir and all around Maloe More bay, in 12 days.
This is an incredible feeling, when you are standing on the almost 1 meter thick smoth ice! Smooth, but with cracks. Baikal is wholly cut up by cracks - thin or thick. Ice crackles, water under the ice gurgles. It scares for the first time, but then you get used to it and enjoy these sounds.
Baikal in winter is a real place of power, one of the most extraordinary places in the world.
I hope this photo, hanging on your wall, will charge you and your room with the power of Lake Baikal!
Your print will be rolled on a solid aluminium composite "dibond". It looks absolutely beautiful without any frame and ready to hang. Serious photo exhibitions use this kind of printing artworks.
You can choose one of the photo paper types:
- Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digitalpaper Type DP II matte finish (The paper is coated with a slightly stippled finish and gives a very natural photographic finish with subtle colour)
- Fujicolor Crystal Archive Digitalpaper Type DP II glossy finish (Accentuates the colour to give a punchy, rich feel)
- Epson Premium Semigloss Photo Paper (Gives a photographic feel with a medium gloss finish, good detail and natural colour)
Each print is made-to-order. Commonly it takes approximately 7 business days processing the order prior to shipping, but in some cases it may take up 14 business days.
Please note: the price may increase when the number of remaining prints from a limited edition decrease, reflecting the growing scarcity of the artwork.
