Poison dart frogs are found in Central and South America. Their size ranges from 1.5 cm up to about 6 cm. Their bright colors are said to warn predators that they are poisonous to eat. Their name comes from the use of the poisons extracted from the skin of the frog to tip darts used to bring down hunted animals.

This is an original digital media manipulation of a photograph processed into a work of art using a digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality acid free photo paper. The resulting giclée prints are of superior archival quality. It is signed and numbered on the back of the print.
