Original artwork description:

Dysart is just to the east of Kirkcaldy. This small harbour has a long history. As well as being a busy trading port, particularly for shipping coal from the local mine, it also housed a shipyard in its hay day. Those days are long gone. As the picture shows today its main function is home to the Dysart sailing club. The picture is looking south from inside the harbour towards the outer wall and an oil tanker lying at anchor in the Firth of Forth. The seen is about two hours before low tide. I love this little harbour and at times I just go to enjoy the seen, perhaps sketch or take the odd photograph, or at times just sit and look.
