Artist's description:

The spider had long left this home of hers in the eaves of the rocky face of the cliff. The indestructible fibers were quivering in the breeze and collapsing into each other. Where there was once the beauty of symmetry and order, there was now the beauty of decomposition and passing away. The fibers enjoyed this moment of sensation with the wind, as they prepared to return to the earth and give themselves to the process of rebirth.
