Artist's description:

I've created this piece as inspired by a recent drive out to Birdsville. So much harsh land and remains of the living. Whilst I've recently moved to the beach, I still feel a great connection with the outback and he fauna and flora which makes it a diverse place. This piece has been created with painting charcoal onto paper using makeup brushes. This is a unique technique, which enables me to gain strong contrasts and smooth finishes. This has been fixed with high quality fixative and will fit any standard A3 frame. I consider this to be one of my best works to date.

Materials used:

Charcoal sealed on A3 240gsm vintage white paper
