This painting was judged, Best In Show on Feb. 24, 2018, at the 'Through a Woman's Eyes' Juried Art show at the Haddon Fortnightly, Haddonfield, NJ! The park runs along side the Jenkintown train station near where I lived. I walked here often with my dog who loved to chase the squirrels and go down to the stream to drink. It is especially lovely in Spring as the old growth trees leaf out. Sugar Maples, Black Locust, Sycamore, Red Maples all searching for light, they bend gracefully towards the water. It is the kind of scene that you can loose yourself in as your eyes follow the path to a destination unknown. The painting is large at 40" x 30" and is in the greens and brown tones with splashes of russet reds. It is wired for hanging but sold unframed. This is a standout piece for your wall or above your fireplace.
