Artist's description:

This piece features my photography of the Fisher Bridge in Wolcott, VT, one of two covered railroad bridges remaining in the state. The image is then layered with acrylic paints and collaged with ledgers, receipts and photos from the 1800s as well as assorted tickets, papers and documents. This is the one-of-a kind original, not a reproduction.

Specifications:
• measures 12" x 16" x 1.5"
• original painting on cradled wood with open back
• sides painted black, backside signed with artist info
• sealed with UV protective matte varnish
• wired and ready to hang, no framing needed

Inspired by my passion for travel and nature, my photography marries beautifully with mixed media techniques; each piece tells a unique story through the quiet scenes captured, the vintage ephemera incorporated and the touches of paint that when combined creates a new piece that is greater than the sum of its parts.

My work is nature inspired, travel inspired, vintage inspired. I create art that speaks to wide open spaces, quiet places and simpler times.
