Recently reframed
'Raging Bull' is an original mixed media drawing predominantly created using charcoal on Pastelmat card, with the addition of some charcoal white pencil, soft pastels and a little iridescent silver and copper paint in the background.

This dramatic painting depicts a bull African elephant charging from the darkness through clouds of dust and debris, created with a high level of detail against an abstract background. I think the end result of the numerous textures working together is really effective.

Measuring approximately 18.5 x 12.5 inches, this painting is presented in a white mount within a very distressed grey wood frame with a brushed bright silver sight edge, to a total size of about 24.25 x 18.5 inches, ready to hang. Please note, this frame is a purposefully very distressed finish, with bare wood showing through the rough and battered texture, see close-up photo. I think it's perfect for this painting, which has been signed on the front and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.


Conscious of the need to recycle, I re-use shipping materials whenever possible. Therefore my package may not always be the prettiest, but you can be sure that I will still have made it as secure and robust as possible.
