This is one of my larger cow sculptures, inspired by the cows that roam the moorlands near my home in the Yorkshire Dales.
All my pieces are individual and develop their own character and personality during the making process, and this one is definitely Queen of her Herd.
She is made by twisting and weaving individual strands of various gauge non-tarnish silver-plated wire to gradually build up the shape of a fine, prize cow.
Being made of wire she is strong and solid, but the intricate pattern of the wirework allows light to pass through showing the structure as a whole.
She is definitely a prize specimen and would look beautiful in any setting.
Non-tarnish silver-plated wire.
