Artist's description:

The “Quarried” series shows another view of the UK Peak District by including images of sites normally thought to despoil the landscape including, quarries, cement and lime works. I concentrated on the texture, colour, line and form of the scene to show that quarries have a stark beauty which is often overlooked. Audience comments at the exhibition included: “Outstanding attention to detail!”, ”Looks almost 3D”, “Impressive, beautiful photography”, “Superb photographs, a fascinating insight into a world few see”, “Absolutely mind blowing!”, “Brilliant, would like them on my wall”
