Influenced by expressionist, primitive, and abstract genres, Quaderno has the aura of an esoteric, personal artistic fulfillment but is readily accessible to those who have eyes to see its honest and straightforward visual language.
This work is an exercise in the expressive nature of brush stroke, color and movement. I use forms in nature as my source of inspiration for aesthetic and the biblical subjects for substance.
