三 (san) is number three in Chinese. This eye is the third of 5 sculptures made at the same time and with the same materials: polyurethane, acrylic paint and coated with epoxy.
Eyes are the windows of the soul and this is a recurring theme since I believe they represent the person behind. This third one is red, with red, black and neon orange strains at the iris.
