Artist's description:

"The primrose banks how fair."
~Robert Burns

Hoping I captured the depth of colour for the primrose. I imagine an English Garden and the inspiration was indeed my English neighbours flower garden. The loose india ink sketch to capture some of the blooms and background greens and purples and my signature can be found on a petal lowest right flower. The paper is signed and named on the back also and will be shipped professionally with tracking number and approximately 8 business days arrival time. I will be sending the watercolour with a matte to help in the protective packaging for the journey to it's new home.

The colours are quite vibrant and I am really pleased how the greens and reds compliment and accent each other as that was the plan.

I hope you enjoy the primrose in your home for many years to come. Even if they are soon to disappear in the garden setting. I will be matting in white and I think this watercolour would look quite lovely with a white frame.
