Original artwork description:

Primitive Style Ceramic Mask Four is a series of four unique hand built ceramic masks.
Made with stoneware clay and oxides. The surface is textured, unglazed but sealed. I have been studying the many traditions of masks made for disguise, performance or entertainment to create my own style which plays with the infinite variety of human expressions.
This mask is made in one piece, is lightweight and easily displayed on your wall, hung from a nail - no special fittings required.

Materials used:

stoneware clay, iron oxides and glaze
