I simply love Birds of Prey. They have such a regal feel about them and it all starts in the intensity of their stare. In this piece, I wanted to zoom in, past the ornate plumage and markings...even the sharp beak of this Great Horned Owl, and bring you right to his gaze, as he appears to look over your left shoulder at his prey. This piece was created with acrylic on canvas in 2014. The paint is brought around the sides and the canvas will be wired and ready to hang.
