Artist's description:

This is part of a Series of Sumie paintings I did based on nature and animals. Sumie is the Japanese art of Ink Painting. It is based on the observance of nature. As following my love and interest of foxes, I searched for images of pouncing foxes. I found the movement captured in this moment quite intriguing, and aimed to capture it. The unique colouring of the fox is particularly well-suited to this type of painting. For me this represents freedom and the beauty of the dance between predator and prey. It is a simple and minimal work which could look great in almost any type of space.

Please note: this painting is unmounted.
