In Oputia there was an industrial revolution of sorts. That were always a bit half-hearted about it and thought it was much more fun turning all those mills and factories into luxury apartments and visitor attractions so the actual industrial bit of the revolution was a very short period in history. Of course, this being Oputia the smoke from chimneys is beautifully coloured, sweet smelling and non-toxic.
One of my "Postcard From Oputia" series of imaginary landscapes. Painted with the palette knife in a bold impasto style.
