Original artwork description:

A young woman, thoughtful, smiling, melancholic.
The expressive colors give the face something lively. You almost feel if you feel the warmth of the skin and the breath.

The focus of my work is the human being as an individual, in search of his own identity. My figures are melancholic, thoughtful, absorbed in themselves. What fascinates me most is the face with its expression and charisma. For me, the realistic representation of the outside of the human being is not in the foreground, but the view inside. Especially with my portraits I work until I can feel the person in the picture. Therefore it is an advantage for me to paint people I know. My expressive representation is made possible with rough strokes.
