Liquid Lives manifests my relationship with water. Compositions in this series are both meditative and exuberant. Pool 3 is the former, deep, meditative.
Rendered in pastel hues merging to distant dark depths. A work that watches you as you gaze at it. Responding to your own inner monologues as you surrender to your own subconscious. Doesn't water do that to us? Engage with us at a deep, primal level. Away from the surface, calling us to its deep. Forming, breaking, forming again. Never still.
Pool 3, made in 2016, a year that has seen much violence in India and over the world. Many souls much in need of a balm. A silent, still, art work, for this year, shared only with you.
