I was living in Rome for a decade of my life, and I wanted to capture some of the places and energies that had so inspired me and kept me in Rome for so long.. one of my most beloved places was Ponte Tiberina, on the banks of the Tiber. This is a sketch I made in oil which really captures for me the energy of the many times I walked over that bridge.. usually on my way to drink a great espresso!
