I have been experimenting painting this little purple vase with various combinations of fruits and under every possible type of lighting. It has been a fun ride so far and I definitely have a lot more of them coming up. I painted this pair of pomegranates along with my vase under natural light last week. I did not touch the setup, just pulled down the shutters and switched on a little bulb. And here is the nocturnal version of the same.
Done in a loose impressionistic style, this painting features bold brushstrokes and rich colour.
This painting ships with a grey coloured neutral frame without a glass and is ready to hang. The painting will be varnished with a gloss UV protection varnish.
