Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This is another in my series of games-related 3-dimensional framed 'collage' pieces. The 'Poker Player' is a 1901 original family photograph of an uncle who was the only boy in a brood of 13 children and who loved card games. The 41 miniature playing cards are mounted 4 and 8 mm from the base giving a lovely three-dimensional effect.

I have an unusual fascination with the 'odd man out' planted in a regular pattern or sequence of objects. Please check one of my other in this series called 'Ahead of the Game 2', also in my Artfinder shop.

This piece is beautifully deep box-framed in black wood and would look lovely hanging in a games room or similar. Commissions on request using an old family photograph or photos.

Shipped UK only via Hermes Courier.

Materials used:

Miniature playing cards, 1901 vintage photograph
