This work is created intuitively through a process of layering, reconfiguration, and re-painting until a kind of resolution is achieved. I am interested in the way that the eye moves around a composition and the visual rhythms that emerge; for me each piece is like a map to be explored. The imagery within this work is at turns abstract, geometric, animistic and figurative.
