Artist's description:

This abstract linocut reduction print is inspired by the huge buds on the chestnut tree outside my bedroom window, they are so ready to burst into life and just simply gorgeous to look at!
A 3 colour lino reduction print, reduction means that as I am printing the very short edition of only 10 prints, I cut away areas to keep the colour I just printed. Original linocuts are all handprinted, this is not a reproduction! You can join over 58.000 viewers on Youtube, to see how a reduction print is made and printed by me, go to the "me at work" section in this shop.
All my lino prints are printed by me, printmaking is my big love!

This linocut is printed in waterbased based inks, warm and luminous colors,a warm bright pink, a terracotta red, and a bit of aqua green.

"Pods" is printed on a warm beautiful warm white piece of velvety printmaking paper,
the printed area measures 12" x 13" (30 cm x 33 cm)
and the paper is 14"" x 17" (36 cm x 43 cm)
Please note that the home interior photo is not entirely to scale.

I have signed, titled and numbered the print, I only printed "Soulmates" in a very short edition of 8 prints.
Once a reduction print is finished, the lino plate is discarded.

I'll mail it to you protected by tissuepaper and a cellophane sleeve so it arrives safely.
